SeaCity Museum
Visiting the SeaCity Museum in Southampton as part of our topic on Titanic was a brilliant way to share what we had already learnt, and discover some new facts. We had great fun in the workshop exploring some of the different objects that may have been used on board ship, as well as sniffing some of the smells. We were not so keen on those!! Our favourite activity was trying to see if we could sink the Titanic. We had to think about spreading the load and keeping it afloat as long as possible. That was tricky. Dressing up in some of the clothes that people would have worn on board the ship was a real treat. Lots of us wanted to be the captain or the first class passengers in their fancy outfits. We had a great day out and can't wait to share all the new facts that we have learnt.
