We explored which materials we thought would float and designed our own boat. Then we created it and decided what would be a fair test. We knew we needed to have the boats in the water for the same amount of time, we chose 30 seconds. We used the same amount of water in our tray for testing and we only made boats that were no longer than 12cm.
